Baseball Recap: Crowley's Ridge Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Marked Tree

Crowley's Ridge Academy scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Marked Tree Indians by a score of 10-9. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 6, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Dayton Holland was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Those runs were his first of the season.

Crowley's Ridge Academy dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Marked Tree, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.

Coming up, Crowley's Ridge Academy will take on Armorel at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Marked Tree does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
