After having lost a blowout in their previous game against La Vernia, Poth was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Nixon-Smiley Mustangs with a sharp 12-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won nine in a row.
