Soccer Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Dominion

Dominion took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Loudoun Valley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Titans won by a goal and slipped past the Vikings 3-2. The win was all the more spectacular given Dominion's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while Loudoun Valley are ranked 102nd).

Dominion's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7-1. As for Loudoun Valley, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 3-3-2.
