Softball Game Preview: St. James Wildcats vs. Berwick Panthers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as St. James Wildcats challenge Berwick Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. James has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 8th.

St. James came up short against Albany on Monday, falling 15-5. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly ten runs.

Ja'Rah Bright was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jai Bright, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, while Berwick put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Terrebonne. Berwick blew past Terrebonne 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Berwick's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for St. James, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
