Volleyball Recap: Brighton Comes Up Short

Brighton lost against Monarch back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coyotes. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Brighton ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 20-25, 25-17, 25-17.

Brighton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Monarch, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Brighton will take on Vista PEAK Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monarch, they will face off against Arvada West at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
