Volleyball Recap: Mohawk Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Damascus Christian, Mohawk was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Oakridge Warriors, sneaking past 2-1. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Mohawk now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Oakridge, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.

Mohawk has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Myrtle Point on the 20th. As for Oakridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lost River on the 20th.
