Recap: Roosevelt Teddies vs. Grand Rapids Thunderhawks
On Saturday, Roosevelt was the victim of a tough 77-53 defeat at the hands of Grand Rapids. Roosevelt has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Roosevelt's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cady Davis, who scored 10 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaida Walker, who scored 13 points.
Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Grand Rapids, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Roosevelt will be playing in front of their home fans against Cretin-Derham Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grand Rapids will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Visitation at 2:00 p.m. on November 27th.
