Boyd-Buchanan has gone a perfect 6-0 against Walker Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Buccaneers will square off against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Boyd-Buchanan will be strutting in after a win while Walker Valley will be coming in after a loss.

Boyd-Buchanan is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Silverdale Academy 7-0 on Tuesday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Boyd-Buchanan's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Silverdale Academy are ranked 263rd).

Meanwhile, Walker Valley came up short against Chattanooga Christian on Tuesday, falling 5-1.

The Mustangs' goal came courtesy of Alex Lakatosh, who's now up to five this season.

Boyd-Buchanan is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. As for Walker Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-3.

Boyd-Buchanan took their win against Walker Valley in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 4-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
