Baseball Recap: Justin Garza Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Justin Garza Guardians didn't have quite enough to beat the St. Joseph Knights and fell 4-3.

Brody Griffin was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI. Another player making a difference was Luke Trukki, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Justin Garza's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Joseph, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Justin Garza will host Central at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Joseph, they will square off against Centennial at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
