Soccer Recap: Albany Starts Season with Win at Home

Albany gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They skirted past the Oakland Wildcats 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Max Todd and Borja Romero scored both of Albany's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Oakland's loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Albany has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Oakland Tech on the 9th. Oakland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
