Basketball Recap: Britton-Hecla Wins Going Away Against Warner

Britton-Hecla hadn't done well against Warner recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Britton-Hecla Braves put the hurt on the Warner Monarchs with a sharp 53-33 victory. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 20 points or more this season.

Britton-Hecla has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Warner, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Britton-Hecla will venture away from home to challenge Leola/Frederick at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leola/Frederick is on a five-game streak of home wins, Britton-Hecla a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Warner, they will host Waubay/Summit at 8:00 p.m. on January 31st.
