Basketball Game Preview: Sterling Tigers vs. Fletcher Wildcats

Last Friday, Sterling ended up a good deal behind Alex and lost 42-27. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Longhorns are ranked 142nd).

Meanwhile, Fletcher blew past Indiahoma, posting a 58-31 win.

Fletcher is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Sterling, they dropped their record down to 7-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Sterling might still be hurting after the 43-23 loss they got from Fletcher in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Sterling avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
