League recap: T.C. Williams stuns West Springfield in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to West Springfield, who took down 45th ranked West Springfield, 24-7. Dealo Robertson ran for 215 yards and caught one passes for eight yards in the win.

Woodson moved up to 165 from 195 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AAA Patriot. The Cavaliers were able to make the jump by topping Annandale 14-7.

T.C. Williams's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Alec Grosser threw for 185 and two touchdowns and Julius Cooper had 96 yards receiving. Terry Jordan helped T.C. Williams' passing attack out by catching one ball for 49 yards.

T.C. Williams' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Titans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Grosser has thrown for 1217 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Landon Moss has 42 catches for 505 yards. Robertson leads the league in rushing with 799 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Lee takes on Lake Braddock. As it stands, the Lancers are in fourth, while the Bruins are in third.

Lake Braddock extended the longest winning streak in AAA Patriot this week by beating Robinson, 32-7. The win marks fourth in a row for the Jim Poythress' team.
