Basketball Recap: Hatley Comes Up Short

Hatley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. The game between them and the Walnut Wildcats didn't end well, with the Hatley Tigers falling 66-47. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 68-56 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Hatley's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Walnut, their win bumped their record up to 13-10.

Hatley will take on Mantachie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walnut, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Myrtle at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday.
