Softball Recap: Windsor Central's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Windsor Central had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Oneonta Yellowjackets on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 on April 14th.

The team relied heavily on Ashlee Hagerman, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brooke Quick, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Windsor Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Oneonta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Windsor Central will take on Chenango Forks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Black Knights are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Oneonta, they will square off against Susquehanna Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
