Powell came up big in Huntingtown's 49-14 win
On Thursday Eva Powell was dialed in and dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Considering what she did the last time these two duked it out (she dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds), Calvert should've known better. As if that's not impressive enough, the contest was her fifth in a row with eight or more rebounds. On the season, Powell has averaged 12.2 points and 12.8 rebounds per match.
Powell and Huntingtown will head out on the road to take on Patuxent at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last time Powell duked it out with Patuxent (back in December of 2023), Huntingtown came out on top by a score of 53-17 Will another strong game from Powell be enough to do it again?
