Recap: Union City Soaring Eagles vs. Passaic County Tech Bulldogs
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Union City Soaring Eagles, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 14-0 to Passaic County Tech. Union City's loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.
Marc Molina threw for 48 yards on two of nine attempts. Kareem Hector was his top target, picking up 39 receiving yards. On the ground, Elijah Rose rushed for 40 yards.
Union City's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Passaic County Tech, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0.
Union City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Passaic County Tech will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Toms River North at 8:00 p.m. on November 27th. Toms River North knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Passaic County Tech likes a good challenge.
