Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for San Marino

San Marino is still undefeated this season after their contest against Verdugo Hills on Tuesday, but Verdugo Hills came as close as anyone has to beating them. The San Marino Titans' pitcher stepped up to hand the Verdugo Hills Dons a 2-0 shutout.

The result came thanks to JJ Wilson's shutout, as he gave up just five hits. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Parker Wilson, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season.
