Meanwhile, Fox Tech fell victim to Brackenridge and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Fox Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-2. As for Sam Houston, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Sam Houston might still be hurting after the 11-2 defeat they got from Fox Tech in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Sam Houston was down 7-0.
