Game recap: Avon High School Football Team beats Tripp-Delmont/Armour

AVON, S.D. - Logan Mudder ran for two touchdowns and Brandon Kocmich added two as well as Avon (S.D.) bested Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, S.D.) 50-0 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Mudder in the first quarter, the Pirates led 44-0 at the half.

Avon grew its lead to 50 points entering the fourth quarter. AHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Chase Frank.

The Pirates scored 36 points in the first quarter on the way to a win. Avon scored on a touchdown run by Mudder, a Kocmich touchdown run, a punt return touchdown by Kocmich, a touchdown run by Kocmich and a Mudder touchdown run in the quarter.



Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 36-0 win for AHS.

The loss was the fourth in a row for the Nighthawks. The win brought Avon's winning streak to four games.
