Lee Academy extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping their season record down to 3-13 in the process. They fell 12-8 to the Richard Winn Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-9 two weeks ago.

Ansley Nesbit made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Presleigh Greene, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

As for Richard Winn Academy, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games.

On Richard Winn Academy's side, Caroline Tolbert spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits. Tolbert has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
