Basketball Recap: Athens Academy Takes a Loss

Athens Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. The match between them and the Rabun County Wildcats didn't end well, with the Athens Academy Spartans falling 54-38. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Spartans came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 203rd).

Athens Academy's record is now 17-7. As for Rabun County, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

As of now, neither Athens Academy nor Rabun County have any future games scheduled.
