Softball Recap: Steinbrenner Warriors vs. River Ridge Royal Knights
While Steinbrenner put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for River Ridge. Steinbrenner came out on top against River Ridge by a score of 4-0. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Madi Adams looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Steinbrenner's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Callie Bergen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another was Emma Kindle, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
