Football Recap: Lynn Classical Comes Up Short at Home Against Lawrence

Lynn Classical unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Lawrence Lancers by a score of 16-14 on Saturday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Although Lynn Classical took the loss, they still got scores from Gianni McKay and Doug Andrade.

Lynn Classical didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Devon Bercy and McKay.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynn Classical is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Everett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Rams' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Lawrence, they will take on Whittier RVT at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
