Basketball Recap: Harwood Skates Past Spaulding with Ease

Harwood had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They claimed a resounding 53-21 win over the Spaulding Crimson Tide. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 76-47 back in January.

Harwood's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points over those games. As for Spaulding, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harwood will head out to face off against North Country Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spaulding, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lyndon Institute at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
