Basketball Recap: Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Takes a Loss

Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 45-25 to the Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 60-50 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy was led to victory by Nathan Goodwin and Ethan Kihnel. Goodwin went 6 for 11 en route to 14 points and seven steals, while Kihnel went 6 of 12 on his way to 17 points in addition to six boards and three steals. That's the most steals Goodwin has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dimitris Galiatsos, who posted seven points and seven rebounds.

Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-14.
