            Baseball Recap: Williamsburg Wildcats vs. Georgetown G-Men        
        
		
        
        
            After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Williamsburg brought some dynamite into their most recent  contest. They were the clear victors by  a  12-2 margin over the Georgetown G-Men on Wednesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Wildcats' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 Caleb Pauley was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  doubles. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Aaron Hatter, who  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while going 2-for-3.
 Williamsburg  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .526. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.

Williamsburg's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Georgetown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Coincidentally, Williamsburg and Georgetown will both be playing Clermont Northeastern the next time they take the field. The G-Men will  host the Rockets at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them  at 5:00  p.m.  on  the 11th.
