Soccer Recap: Taunton Comes Up Short

Taunton lost against Durfee back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Hilltoppers. Taunton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Taunton's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Durfee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7-1.

Taunton and Durfee could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 263rd) will meet King Philip Regional (ranked 34th) at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Durfee will square off against Somerset Berkley Regional at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (210 vs. 78).
