Baseball Recap: Red Jacket Takes a Loss

Red Jacket was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the East Rochester Bombers, falling 15-1. If Red Jacket was looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to East Rochester when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Red Jacket's record now sits at 0-3. As for East Rochester, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Jacket will square off against Honeoye at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Red Jacket's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for East Rochester, they will challenge Gananda Central at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Bombers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
