Eastern suffers fourth straight loss at home

Recap: Eastern Warriors vs. Fayetteville-Perry Rockets

After flying high against the Manchester Greyhounds last Monday, the Eastern Warriors came back down to earth. Eastern was beaten by Fayetteville-Perry 48-17 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, Eastern couldn't push the score so high this time.

Fayetteville-Perry's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lilly Carlier, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Victoria Thompson, who scored nine points along with two steals.

Eastern's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Fayetteville-Perry, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.

Eastern will be playing in front of their home fans against Peebles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they will head out on the road to face off against East Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. East Clinton is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
