Vasquez is a perfect 6-0 against Santa Clarita Christian since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will head out to take on the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Vasquez is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.

Vasquez was handed a seven-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Chavez 6-4.

The team relied heavily on Sadie Mendoza, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and one double. Faith Nasrallah was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one double.

Vasquez always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chavez only posted an OBP of .379.

Meanwhile, Santa Clarita Christian made easy work of Silver Valley on Friday and carried off a 23-9 win. Considering the Cardinals have won seven contests by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Vasquez has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Santa Clarita Christian, they pushed their record up to 7-3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Everything went Vasquez's way against Santa Clarita Christian when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Vasquez made off with a 15-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
