Softball Recap: Redford Union Falls to Lincoln Park in First Game of Season

Redford Union kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 15-1 to the Lincoln Park Railsplitters.

The victory (which was Lincoln Park's fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Redford Union and Lincoln Park will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Panthers will square off against rival Melvindale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lincoln Park is set to challenge their familiar foe Carlson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
