Basketball Recap: Indian Trail Takes a Loss

Indian Trail lost against Westosha Central back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indian Trail Hawks fell to the Westosha Central Falcons 56-50. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Falcons are ranked 125th).

Indian Trail has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Westosha Central, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Indian Trail and Racine Saint Catherine?s/Racine Lutheran will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Westosha Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Racine Park at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Racine Park's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
