Baseball Recap: Lancaster Flying Arrows vs. New Glarus Glarner Knights
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dodgeville, Lancaster was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the New Glarus Glarner Knights 10-9. For the Flying Arrows, this counts as revenge for the 5-4 win the Glarner Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Toay Ragatz
Toay Ragatz made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Lancaster is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 5-8 otherwise. Ragatz was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Elliot Webster was excellent, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Wolf, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

With the victory, Lancaster broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-9. As for New Glarus, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lancaster will face off against Southwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for New Glarus, they will square off against Dodgeville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
