Baseball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

Sidney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Mount Ayr Raiders, falling 13-0. The Cowboys were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in June of 2016.

Sidney's loss dropped their record down to 2-13-1. As for Mount Ayr, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Sidney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Ayr, they will face off against Bedford on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
