Football Game Preview: Hebron Christian Lions vs. Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines

Hebron Christian is 0-8 against Prince Avenue Christian since September of 2014 but things could change on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, both will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 1:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hebron Christian comes in on three and Prince Avenue Christian on eight.

Hebron Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Friday. They walked away with a 24-17 victory over Fellowship Christian.

Meanwhile, Prince Avenue Christian never let their opponents score last Friday. They claimed a resounding 43-0 win over North Cobb Christian. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Hebron Christian better keep an eye on Ben Musser. He was instrumental in Prince Avenue Christian's win, rushing for 121 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries, while also throwing for 214 yards and two touchdowns. Those 214 passing yards gave Musser a new career-high.

Hebron Christian's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.3 points per game. As for Prince Avenue Christian, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Hebron Christian couldn't quite finish off Prince Avenue Christian when the teams last played back in November and fell 34-31. Can Hebron Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
