Basketball Recap: Dunbar Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Dunbar couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took an 84-75 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Lawndale Phoenix on Friday.

Dunbar's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 21-9. As for North Lawndale, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Dunbar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Lawndale, they will challenge Leo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in North Lawndale's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
