Basketball Game Preview: Creek Valley Storm vs. Cody-Kilgore Cowboys/Cowgirls

The Creek Valley Storm will head out to square off against the Cody-Kilgore Cowboys/Cowgirls at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Cody-Kilgore took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Creek Valley, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with nine defeats in a row dating back to last season, Creek Valley turned things around against Minatare on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Indians as they made off with a 47-27 victory. The Storm's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Cody-Kilgore ended up a good deal behind Hay Springs on Tuesday and lost 44-29. The Cowboys/Cowgirls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cody-Kilgore's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Creek Valley, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-7.

Creek Valley took a serious blow against Cody-Kilgore in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 54-24. Can Creek Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
