            Latin had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Francis W. Parker on Wednesday. The Romans put the hurt on the Colonels with a sharp  11-1 victory. The Romans haven't had any issues with the Colonels recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  win against them.

Latin got a  massive  performance out of  Karim Patterson, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those  three  hits gave  Patterson a new career-high.  Theo Davenport was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.
 Latin  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .645. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Latin's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Francis W. Parker, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the  loss, which was their third straight  at home.
Latin will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Colonels: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
