Basketball Game Preview: Clinton-Massie Falcons vs. New Richmond Lions

Clinton-Massie is 1-9 against New Richmond since December of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Falcons will host the Lions at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Clinton-Massie ended up a good deal behind Washington and lost 52-35.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Cobe Euton, who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Janis, who scored eight points.

Meanwhile, New Richmond unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 38-28 to Clermont Northeastern on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Lions' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Clinton-Massie couldn't quite get it done against New Richmond in their previous matchup back in February as they fell 55-47. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
