Volleyball Recap: Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties vs. St. George's Dragons
The Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties were able to grind out a solid victory over the St. George's Dragons on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mounties.
Mount St. Charles Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-17, 17-25, 25-8, 25-16.
Camryn Bedrossian paced Mount St. Charles Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bedrossian got some help from Chloe Marcotte and her 14 assists. Sophia Baeta controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.
Mount St. Charles Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount St. Charles Academy will square off against Wilbraham & Monson Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. George's, they will face off against Groton School at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
