Daniel Yuzos posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Tularosa is 5-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-4 otherwise.

Yuzos' strong effort led Tularosa over Socorro and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats have been dominating at home and they will enter the matchup having won nine straight home games dating back to last season.
