Volleyball Game Preview: Hilliard Bradley Jaguars vs. Olentangy Orange Pioneers

The Hilliard Bradley Jaguars will head out to challenge the Olentangy Orange Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hilliard Bradley will be strutting in after a victory while Olentangy Orange will be coming in after a loss.

Hilliard Bradley had lost five straight headed into Tuesday's contest, but Noah Santone didn't let it get to six. The Jaguars had just enough and edged out Olentangy Liberty 3-2 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Santone, who had 38 assists and 13 digs. Santone is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 13 every time he's taken the court this season.

Hilliard Bradley took Olentangy Liberty into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-20, 20-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Olentangy Orange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Upper Arlington.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 23-25, 25-22.

Hilliard Bradley's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Olentangy Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Hilliard Bradley came out on top in a nail-biter against Olentangy Orange when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
