Football Recap: Sands Piles Up the Points Against Loraine

Sands waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Loraine Bulldogs 53-0. The Mustangs' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Sands' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Loraine, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Sands will take on Robert Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Steers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Loraine, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Aspermont at 7:30 p.m. The Hornets' defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
