Basketball Recap: Brownsboro's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Brownsboro hadn't done well against Canton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Brownsboro Bears snuck past the Canton Eagles with a 71-65 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Brownsboro's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 10-13. As for Canton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mabank the next time they take the court. Brownsboro will host Mabank at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Canton will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st.
