Baseball Recap: Dexter's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Dexter dropped their record down to 21-8 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins on the road. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Railsplitters. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Dreadnaughts couldn't push the score so high this time.

Dexter saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chance Sobbry, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

As for Lincoln, their record is now 12-23. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

On Lincoln's side, the team relied heavily on Michael Stone, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was Stone's first of the season.

Coming up, Dexter will venture away from home to challenge Tecumseh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln, they will host Edison Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
