Volleyball Game Preview: Granada Matadors vs. Foothill Falcons

Granada hasn't had much luck against Foothill recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Granada will venture away from home to face off against Foothill at 6:30 a.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Granada beat Livermore 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Matadors in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now won nine in a row.

Granada had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 25-13, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Foothill was able to grind out a solid win over Amador Valley on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

Granada came up short against Foothill when the teams last played back in February, falling 3-1. Can Granada avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
