Basketball Recap: Dylan Bryant's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ossining over New Rochelle

Ossining was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 76-53 to the New Rochelle Huguenots. The Pride were not able to make up for their defeat to the Huguenots from their previous meeting back in January.

Ossining lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Dylan Bryant, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards. He has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Josh Smith, who posted seven points.

Ossining's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Ossining wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 107-28 defeat against Cardinal Hayes on the 10th. Hopefully New Rochelle paid attention to the Pride's matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pride at 5:00 p.m. on the 19th.
