Baseball Game Preview: Clay-Battelle Cee Bees vs. Trinity Christian Warriors

The Clay-Battelle Cee Bees will square off against the Trinity Christian Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clay-Battelle hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

On Tuesday, Clay-Battelle came up short against Grafton and fell 5-1.

Ryan Parker was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian hadn't done well against Lewis County recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Warriors blew past the Minutemen 10-3. Considering the Warriors have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Nathan Adams was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Ben Hancox was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Clay-Battelle's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Trinity Christian, they moved to 10-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
