It's playoff time, and Richland had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over the Columbia Wildcats on Saturday. Considering the Rangers have won 11 matchups by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Richland's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four contests. As for Columbia, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-2 record this season.

Richland will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Pass Christian at 5:30 p.m. Pass Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Richland surely won't give up without a fight. Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
